Affiliate Program FAQ
Who can join?
Anyone with a 3P Mercury account. Create a free account and you’ll land on your affiliate page, where you agree to the terms and add your PayPal email.
How much do I earn?
20% of each collected subscription payment from customers who sign up through your link, for up to 12 months from their signup date.
When and how do I get paid?
Through PayPal, on or before the 15th of each month, once your eligible balance reaches $100. New commissions clear after a 60-day hold from the customer’s signup date.
How are referrals tracked?
When someone opens your link, we remember it on that browser for 30 days. If they create their account in that time, they’re your referral. Ad blockers, private browsing, switching devices, or shortened or edited links can break tracking, and referrals we can’t verify can’t be credited.
What doesn’t earn commission?
Refunds, chargebacks, failed payments, reversed transactions, fraudulent signups, and self-referrals. If a commission was already paid and the payment is later refunded, it may be deducted from a future payout.
Can I give my audience a discount?
Yes, with an approved offer. Choose one for a link on your affiliate page and it’s applied automatically when people sign up through that link. Please don’t promise other discounts or bonuses.
Where do I see my results?
Your affiliate page shows visits, registrations, subscriptions, and active subscriptions for each link, and exports your commission report.
What about taxes?
U.S. affiliates who earn $600 or more in a calendar year submit a W-9. Affiliates outside the U.S. may need a W-8BEN. You’re responsible for your own taxes.
